Following on the sucess of Release 1, currently in use by five major liquid operating companies, Release 2 is currently in production.
Prior to May 1, 2018, companies may purchase Release 2 at the prelease price of $25,000. Those purchasing Release 2 prior to May 1, will receive a copy of Release 1.
Release 2 will contain upgraded audio and video, updated screen shots, updated learning objectives for each lesson, and an introductory video. Based on user feedback, the Equipement and Components lesson has been removed and two lessons, Control Room Management and Alarm Management have beed added.
Release 1.0 is now available to oil pipeline operating companies. The program consists of the following 10 lessons:

- Central Control Room Operations
- Control Room Management
- Abnormal Operations
- Scada and Controls
- Alarm Management
- Leak Detection
- Power and System Optimization
Each lesson consists of a high definition video and manuals in pdf format. The first six lessons include a question bank from which a series of quizzes can be developed. Purchasers of release 1.0 will receive a complimentary upgrade to relese 1.1 during 2017.
The program provides approximately 9 hours of introductory training for new oil control room operators but even veteran operators will benefit from refreshers in Hydraulic tools, Power Optimization, Advanced Operational Hydraulics, and Abnormal Operations. Clients use these lessons as the basis for their company specific programs by supplementing the lessons with information about their specific pipeline systems, scada, leak detection, and work processes. Companies use their own Subject Matter Experts (SME)s to facilitate the training, following up with details applying to individual practices and systems.
