PKD Teaches Third in a Serices

On April 2 & 3 PKD taught the third class for an operating pipeline company owned by an integrated major in Houston.  Comments from the attendees included the following:

  • I like how detailed you were, but also moving through the information quickly
  • Pictures are very  helpful and it is nice to know how and where this equipment works
  • It is great that we see what emergencies look like.  We receive orders but don't usually see the damage or what could happen
  • Finally got to see a pig
  • Nice putting my team's requests into pictures and visuals.  Now I'll know exactly what they are talking about when they submit requests
  • Very knowledgeable of the different equipment
  • Helpful in understanding what the teams are ordering
  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.  Each of the topics were quite interesting and your stories tied everything together
  • I support the scada group so the scada section was very interesting to me.
  • Great development of describing the pipeline infrastructure and a picture is worth a thousand words
  • Very good stories of construction related issues.  Great pictures of construction phases
  • I enjoyed the "Managing Economics" section especially
  • Great primer and refresher
  • Questions answered accurately and very well done
  • Thank you for sharing such pertinent information about oil and gas pipelines.  Keep up the good work.  It was greatly apreciated
