Customized Class for Pipeline MLP

April 1, PKD presented a customized 4 hour class to 37 employees of a major pipeline operating company.  The class consited of the following topics:

  • Introduction to the MidStream Industry
  • Regulations
  • Project Economics
  • The Evolution of Pipeline Ownership and the MLP

Comments from class participants included the following:

  • Good overview of how OSHA, NTSB, FERC and EPA tie in to our day to day operations.
  • A lot of information here but very applicabel with the new MLP.
  • Presentation format/content is very well organized and delivered.
  • Really like the MLP overview.  Very helpful.
  • Good history on where the regulations we have came from.  Also good reference to find out more information.
  • Good photos and maps.
  • Very logically put togehter.  Good information and good pictures.
  • MLPs are confusing but I understand them better now.
  • Really good knowldge, especially for people new to the industry.  Enjoyed the pictures - about Introduction to the Midstream Induatry.
  • I always enjoy listening to Tom's presentations.

Note:  This class was the first time the new economics slides were presented.  They were very well received.
