Control Room Operator Training September 20 and 22

On September 20 and 22 PkD presented a customized 5 hour training program to approximately 50 oil pipeline controllers in two identical sessions. The topics consisted of:
- Introduction to Hydraulics
- Equipment and Components
- Advanced Hydraulics
- Abnormal Operations
Feedback included:
- Liked the pictures and examples. They are good for us with no field experience.
- Excellent info, even with my field experience I learned a lot about the equipment, really tied up loose ends.
- Learned some things I thought I already knew but was not quite sure of, can read gradients better now.
- Good to hear about AOG's to keep us on our toes and a reinforcement of the "When in doubt shut it down" philosophy.
- The concept of "Running the pipeline versus the pipeline running you" is a good one.
