For each class, the first 4 registrations are acknowledged but not accepted and charged. After the 5th registration is received, all previous registrations are accepted and processed. This is done to avoid having to make refunds if the class does not fill. If a registration is cancelled before it is accepted, there is no cancellation penalty.
Once a registration has been accepted and processed, if an attendance conflict develops and the student notifies PKD earlier than 2 weeks before the class starts, the student may elect to send another person to the class or attend a later class at no additional cost.
Because PKD must guarantee catering and commit to production of manuals in advance of each class, if the student notifies PKD of their inability to attend less than 2 weeks prior to the day the class is scheduled, they can either send a different person to the class or pay a $250 catering and manual fee and attend a later class. Students who decide to cancel and not send someone else or attend a later class are refunded half of the registration payment.
If a student registers for a class but then their company decides to have a private class, the students registration less a $50 processing fee will be applied to the cost of the private class.
PKD reserve the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event a course must be cancelled, fees will be refunded in full. However, the organizers assume no liability for travel or any expenses other than fees paid.
